到達目標

This year, the focus of Science 1 will be physics, incorporating topics such as motion, forces, electricity amongst others. It will not be enough to simply remember what you learn, students will learn how to put it into practice, improving their logical thinking skills.

授業の進め方・学習方法

The class will be taught using a variety of techniques to help students understand from a variety of viewpoints and learning styles. It will consist of a mixture of lectures, projects, online research, practical exercises and laboratory experiments.

Overall, there will be two lessons of classroom study, and one lesson of practical lab work for the students to put into practice what they will learn in the classroom.

担当者からのアドバイス

Making sure you fully understand the topics will help you to enable your mastery of physics, and will also challenge your thinking and the world around you. Always be curious about the world around you and challenge the assertions that you know.

Also, ensure that you follow these four points: pay attention in class; complete all work required of you, punctually and coherently; correct any mistakes you make in homework or on tests and stay organised. If you need help, then come and talk to me.
