In this course you will focus on learning the basics of algebra and graphing. These topics are essential to understanding higher level mathematics. Working hard to understand these topics now will make things much easier for you in the future.

I will ask you to read the sections before we study them in class - this will make it much easier for you to follow during class. Students are expected to complete all homework that is assigned on time.

Welcome to M2 Math α! This class will extend and expand your knowledge of basic algebra and graphing. It is therefore important to be consistent and diligent with your studies. We are on pace to complete all junior high school math by the end of this year, therefore, if you fall behind it will be very difficult to catch up. To do well, you will need to stay motivated and focused, and if you need extra help see me immediately. Do not wait until the exams, for it will be too late!
