This World History course will focus on major 20th century authoritarian and liberation movements. You will study from a variety of resources and will be expected to read and share your thoughts.
 Expand your knowledge so you feel confident discussing a variety of historical topics.
 Become aware of the historical context from which modern ideas come from.
 Improve research/writing skills. Write compelling papers on historical topics.
 Produce a multi-draft research paper exploring an event or theme of your choice.

Student contribution is necessary for the class to function. To achieve this, you must complete any reading assignments or work that is assigned. Volunteer your ideas and don't be afraid to disagree. Come to class ready to learn. I look forward to learning all about world history this year!
