到達目標


The goal of this course is to continue forward with the complete range of Junior High School Chemistry, as well as to systematically prepare and explore important topics that will be found in High School Chemistry.

Four areas of university entrance requirements are covered. The quantitative relationships of chemical reactions, substance concepts, electrical concepts and batteries, and neutralization reaction relationships.

Hands-on Chemistry experiments will be conducted every other week. Systematic logical thinking and scientific literacy will be fostered.

授業の進め方・学習方法


The course is composed of lectures, exercises, experiments, and problems related to university entrance exams.

The M2 Science 1 Curriculum will be followed in a systematic way. Fundamental matters will be covered, with notes taken in class, reference to the textbook, and discussion of experiments.

Correct scientific terms will be consistently used in the classroom. A key to improving academic ability is to cultivate the habit of steady learning, which will result in consistent growth and movement forward.

• Basic oxidation and reduction.
• Ionization tendency and patterns.

• Ionization patterns of metals.

You will complete your chemistry education at the end of this year, so it is of utmost importance that you fully understand what is expected of you and what you need to do to maximise your potential. Some of the content contained within this course is of university entrance level, so do not be disheartened if you find something challenging or difficult. Come and ask questions and challenge your thinking and the world around you.
