到達目標


Students will:
• Determine why WWI and WWII occurred and became global conflicts, and the ways in which they were similar to, and different from, previous wars between major states.
• Examine the impact of WWI and WWII, the Cold War, and decolonization on the economies, societies and cultures of the various regions we will study.
• Assess a range of historical sources on the events covered this year - both primary and secondary – and to utilize these effectively in presenting original arguments.

授業の進め方・学習方法


In addition to textbook readings, weekly quizzes, and in-class assignments, students will be assigned two pieces of writing for each term.
