到達目標


This is an advanced placement political science course designed to introduce students to the study of domestic politics around the world. Students will begin to think about topics of power, peace, regime types, ideology, political economy, and governance. While you are not expected to come in with specific prior knowledge, you will be expected to consume news and media outside of the classroom that will give you a general awareness of the world and help us generate a healthy class discussion.

- Expand your knowledge so you will feel confident discussing a variety of political topics.
- Become aware of and stay up to date with important political issues around the world.
- Improve research/writing skills. Write thoughtful and compelling papers on political topics.
- Increase your interest in politics and government. Discover what issues matter most to you.
- Become prepared to take and pass the AP Comparative Government and Politics exam.
