This is an intermediate political science course focused on the field of international relations. We will explore topics essential to understanding the modern international order and its politics. You will be expected to keep up to date with news reports from outside of class to help generate a healthy class discussion. International relations is a multidisciplinary field that requires knowledge in history, geography, philosophy, and anthropology, so students should be regularly reading and drawing from many different sources.

This class will be a mix of lecture, group work, and class discussion.

Student contribution is necessary for the class to function. To achieve this, you must complete any reading assignments or work that is assigned. Volunteer your ideas and don't be afraid to disagree. Come to class ready to learn. I look forward to learning. all about political science this year!
